When we first saw David's portfolio on his website, we knew that we wanted him to take photos at our wedding. He has a good eye for interesting quirky shots, a love for colour and contrast and trying different approaches for shots. We are both keen amateur photographers, so we know what makes a good photographer and David has all these elements.
David was willing to travel further out to our wedding in Wellington, Somerset and did over and above what we expected for the day. He was so lovely to have around on our wedding, he was unobtrusive yet welcomed by our guests; we invited him to down tools and join the party later in the evening.
David has a personality that is professional yet easy going and very likeable, all our guests of all ages warmed to him immediately. He wasn't intrusive like many wedding photographers we've seen at other weddings and took many shots without us knowing which gave a good natural feel to the photos.
In all he took over 300 photos and we could not be more happy with the photos he has shared with us. He has far exceeded our expectations and we have no hesitation in recommending David as a wedding photographer.
We wish David all the best in his career and are confident that he will go very far.
